Meet Casey: A compassionate Guide for Healing and Growth
Casey, a graduate of Walden University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, has dedicated her career to helping clients navigate life’s stuck spaces with grace and intention. Specializing in marriage and couples counseling, as well as addressing anxiety, trauma, and self-esteem challenges, Casey is passionate about empowering her clients to identify the root causes of their struggles and cultivate lasting change.
In her practice, Casey incorporates an array of therapeutic approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Client-Centered Therapy. She also embraces the integration of spirituality, gently guiding her clients toward self-discovery, reconnecting with their authentic selves, and fostering meaningful relationships.
Casey’s warm and down-to-earth personality creates a safe and welcoming space for her clients to feel seen, heard, and understood. Her unique ability to balance a deep understanding of mental health with a lighthearted approach reminds her clients that joy can coexist with challenges. She encourages her clients to embrace their truth and approach healing with honesty and self-compassion.
Outside of her work, Casey prioritizes her own well-being and models the self-care principles she teaches. She cherishes time with her husband and three daughters, serving in ministry, enjoying date nights, or simply relaxing on the couch with her favorite shows. Casey firmly believes in the importance of pouring into herself first, understanding that prioritizing her own wellness allows her to show up fully for others.
At Healing Hues, Casey is committed to walking alongside Black women on their journey to healing and wholeness, helping them uncover their inner strength and embrace their full potential.
